Flix Fam, it is a new week & we’re back with the latest from within the OmniFlix Network’s ecosystem covering topics around Engineering, Design, Media & Community.

ecosystem news and updates from last week
1) Engineering
- Excited to share that the core blockchain work is underway and we’re in prep. for the mainnet launch. Don’t ask wen coz the answer is soon! 😅
- The campaign on FlixNet-3 has ended but please continue to create a collection on OmniFlix Studio, mint an NFT, list it in the OmniFlix Market to buy NFTs either with FLIX or an IBC token and transfer an NFT to a friend.
- We will keep tracking activities and incentivize folks accordingly.
- We are also working towards from an engineering perspective to announce details of the FLIX drop (claimable after LBP on mainnet).
- We’ve ‘officially’ onboarded Chihuahua to the Flix Fam!
- Stats from the network, shared by a community member on Twitter but the same numbers were shared by the team too on Telegram.
- After an issue with voting on juno.OmniFlix.co, the Flix Crew got to work and quickly resolved the issue. Appreciate the patience of the Juno fam!
And the community appreciates our transparency! We love the fact that we’re not judged in case of any shortcomings and are very glad to have the kind of support that exists in the Cosmos Ecosystem!
2) Design & Media
- Collateral required for mainnet launch is being worked on along with updates to Studio, Market (web & mobile apps).
- An overview video is being worked on to ensure Flix Fam can share details about OmniFlix with anyone that might be interested.

signaling proposal for Ion🧿 DAO & Treasury
first vote — the rationale behind voting YES for this proposal is that, we’ve followed the shared views of the community and believe that a DAO would be the best way to put the ION to use. We are not too sure of all the details, but believe this signalling proposal is a step in the right direction to fund public goods and eventually help not just the Osmosis blockchain but also the wider community.
update — after going through CommonWealth, Reddit, hearing thoughts from the community, our delegators and thinking about it internally — we decided to vote ‘abstain’ considering that we’ll need more time to work on the way forward. Our delegators are free to vote on this the way they like and our vote will NOT influence theirs.
Please note, an ‘Abstain’ or a ‘NO’ vote now does NOT mean we are rejecting the idea. We only look at it as a case where there needs to be additional deliberation from the community before everyone can vote (possibly in 3 days after the discussion is thorough).

- We’ve had tremendous response from the community reg. FlixNet-3 and beyond:
Some folks minted their first NFT on this testnet and we’re very excited to bring them into the beautiful world of NFTs.
Focus for the current week
All geared up to cover activities from engineering, design & community!
- Blockchain (FlixNet-4/mainnet) — this week we started work towards the mainnet and everything else associated around that.
- Applications — All feedback has been considered for both OmniFlix Studio & OmniFlix Nucleus and other feedback around *.OmniFlix.co has also been noted and is of highest priority, even more so than OmniFlix’s Studio & Market apps.
- Applications — Continued efforts on planning the UI and interfaces for the mainnet launch.
- Design — After receiving good feedback from the community, we’ve Continued efforts around updates to OmniFlix Studio & Nucleus web/mobile, in preparation for mainnet with a potential release of the mobile app this month.
