OmniFlix Network — Community Update 23

Flix Fam, we’re back with our updates from last week and it has been exciting to put it mildly! A non-exhaustive list of tasks we worked around engineering, design/media & community are here below.

ecosystem news and updates from last week

1) Engineering

• Took a break on the OmniFlix oNFT module and the OmniFlix Marketplace module to ensure that focus could be on the operations required for the CCC chain and other details around it.
• Detailed discussion to power events backed/powered by sovereign chains that will later be merged with other chains is being planned.

2) Design

• Worked on the branding of the Cosmoverse event and producing required illustrations, instructions, web & mobile apps.
• Media team covered the production of all video collateral required for the Cosmoverse 2021 event in Lisbon, Portugal.

3) Community

This week’s community activities (partnership announcements & media activity), resulted in a lot of exposure for the OmniFlix Network as a network within the Cosmos ecosystem and fortified OmniFlix as a media partner for in-person as well as virtual events.

• Partnership with India Today Group, a 45yr old trans-media publisher with presence across print, broadcast, digital media and gaming and now, exploring NFTs & web3 with OmniFlix.

• Partnership with Starname, a blockchain network, secured by the $IOV token to launch the *flix starname and to support the ability for Starname NFTs to be purchased via the OmniFlix Network’s Marketplace.

Focus for the current week

All geared up to cover activities from engineering, design & community!

• Blockchain (FlixNet-3) — Updates to the oNFT marketplace and the oNFT module will continue in preparation for the FlixNet-3 testnet launch in the last week of November, 2021.
• Applications (Studio & Nucleus) — Flix Crew will be working on the interface required for Collection & NFT minting along with the ability to sell them in the marketplace on FlixNet-3.
• Design —Continued efforts around updates to OmniFlix Studio & Nucleus web/mobile, in preparation for FlixNet-3.
