OmniFlix Network — Community Update 21

Flix Fam! It is Monday and we’re back with another week of extremely interesting updates. If you’re here for the first time, this blog post is a community update of everything that happened across the OmniFlix ecosystem.

1) Engineering

• The team continued efforts on the marketplace module in preparation for the FlixNet-3 testnet.
• The application development team worked towards completing a version of the Nucleus Web, inline with the deployment of the latest version of OmniFlix Studio on the FlixNet-3 testnet.
• One of the first tests around the marketplace module have been successful with more development and testing that’ll be done in the next two weeks.

2) Design

• Product design team continues effort on “OmniFlix Nucleus”, a self-hosted platform to feature specific collections and NFTs within the the OmniFlix Network and is in sync with the development team.
• The media team worked on the samples for various collateral being used for the live broadcast within the Cosmoverse event.

3) Community

The community was on fire this week with Flix Talk #2 and an in-person Flix Talk #3 in India & the first video oNFT minted via Studio & more!

• Flix Talk #2 featuring KD Edulji from Mahaspunk Party was hosted on Twitter and we had quite a response from the community.
• Flix Talk #3 featuring KD Edulji was pretty interactive and productive, as an in-person event where we had good presence & participation from the folks across the city in Hyderabad, India.
• Sistla Abhishek, the co-founder of OmniFlix was featured in the NFT Panel with 4 other teams (Strange Clan, Iris Network, Pylons Tech & Stargaze Zone), moderated by Liam Connor from the Confidence In Crypto YouTube channel. Watch the entire event here.

Flix Talk #4 will feature Orkun from the CosmWasm community as he shares insights into how they built an amazing community of developers, builders and enthusiasts within the blockchain ecosystem.

• Blockchain (FlixNet-3) — Updates to the oNFT marketplace and the oNFT module will continue.
• Applications (Studio & Nucleus) — Independent teams will be working on the development and updates for both OmniFlix Studio & Nucleus.
• Design — Our efforts this week will mostly revolve around updates to OmniFlix Studio & Nucleus web/mobile, in preparation for FlixNet-3.
