OmniFlix Network — Community Update #18
Hello Flix Fam! Here is edition #18 of the OmniFlix Network’s Community Update that includes overview about Engineering, Design & Community updates from the OmniFlix ecosystem.
Without further ado, let’s get started 🔥
Key Highlights
ecosystem news and updates from last week
1) Engineering
- We have primarily dedicated our time to understand the standard Cosmos NFT module further and exploratory research involved launch of the oNFT module on the OmniFlix mainnet.
- An update for the current oNFT module, in terms of refactoring existing code has been one of our key priorities.
- We have open sourced the first version of inSync by OmniFlix for communities and have launched it for the Juno Network at this point. In subsequent weeks, we will be launching for other networks as well.
- Delegate to our validator on the Juno Network via inSync by OmniFlix — https://juno.OmniFlix.co
Validator URL on the Aneka explorer — https://juno.aneka.io/validators/junovaloper1afhtjur8js4589xymu346ca7a5y5293x7p64ca
- We’re now a part of the October CodeFest, a month long hackathon around the various aspects of community contribution within the Cosmos ecosystem, being spearheaded by the Tendermint Inc. team.
2) Design
- The design priority over the past week has been OmniFlix Nucleus (for mobile and web) and we’ve been working on the same.
- Not all features of the mobile version are planned to be developed at this point. Although, the web version is being prepared for a beta launch during with the OmniFlix Marketplace.
3) Community
This week was very exciting for teams that have been working on some of the community specific activities & events.
- We’ve had an amazing response for https://juno.OmniFlix.co from a community standpoint.
- The OmniFlix Network hosted an unofficial launch party on Twitter spaces and we had ~30 people listen in while we had 4 speakers talk at the event.
- The Juno community has also been very supportive since the launch and with that, we announced the official Launch Party on 5th October at 4pm UTC.
Focus for the current week
All geared up to cover activities from engineering, design & community!
